To celebrate their new release artisan wines – Cima Collina Winery is throwing its annual Staves & Steel warehouse party at their Winery & Barrel Room Saturday 8 April from 1-4pm.
The warehouse party will be full of local vendors to create a festive and urban atmosphere with an emphasis on community, and of course, Cima Collina wine.
Cima Collina will be offering seasonal sips and tips, small lot barrel samples and strolling wine tastings straight from their stainless-steel tanks. To compliment their release, there’ll be wood fire pizza, modern street food and live music.
The party is centered where the wine-magic happens – the warehouse has been the hub of Cima Collina wine production for the past 12 years. With over 140 French oak barrels and 7 stainless steel tanks – Cima Collina Winemaker Annette Hoff Danzer and her team crush, press and age an average of 40 tons of grapes annually on site.
Cima Collina is a locally-grown winery and crafts artisan wines from hand-selected fruit grown in small Monterey County vineyards.
With environmentally and socially conscious operations, Winemaker Annette Hoff Danzer focuses on Pinot Noir plus additional bottlings of Chardonnay, Meritage, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Rhône varietals and Riesling.
After the success of last year’s Staves & Steel party, this year is sure to be a wine lovers event of the season. Make sure you bring your biggest brimmed hat for a day of wine, sunshine, pizza and live music. With a portion of the event proceeds going to CASA of Monterey County – how could you not join in?
